Welcome to the 2014-15 School Year!!!

Please be on the lookout for registration instructions sent to families on/after July 9th
.  Once you receive this letter for each student, we would appreciate it if you would complete the online registration process immediately.  Your prompt response is imperative to schools having updated student information at the very beginning of a new school year.  Parents will have the option of completing all registration procedures online.  You will not have to come to the school sites for registration unless you need internet access, would like assistance from building staff, and/or prefer to pay textbook rental/fees onsite.  We appreciate your assistance streamlining registration, minimizing costs, and helping our valuable personnel realize important time savings.

What do I do if I did not receive a snapcode letter?

You can obtain a snapcode letter at the school sites during onsite registration.  Please see the schedule below for dates/times.

NEW to New Albany Floyd County Schools for the 2014-15 school year?
  1. If the student was pre-registered (including kindergarten students during spring round-up) at one of our schools PRIOR to June 1, then the student should receive a Snapcode letter.
  2. If you are requesting an Out of County transfer for the 2014-15 school year, please complete this form.  You can either email to transfers@nafcs.k12.in.us or you can drop off/mail to the Administrative Services Center, 2813 Grant Line Road, New Albany, IN. You will be contacted in a timely manner reqarding approval of the transfer.  Once the transfer has been approved, you will need to contact the school for an appointment.  At this point, the school will provide the student with a Snapcode letter for online registration.  
  3. If you are a resident of Floyd Countyyou will need to contact the school for an appointment.  At this point, the school will provide the student with a Snapcode letter for online registration.  

How do I pay my textbook rental/fees?

There are several options for families to pay fees.

       Option 1:  Families can pay textbook rental/fees online for all students and there is NO processing fee for this service.  Fees will be paid using the same system and accounts currently available for student pre-paid lunches via My Payments Plus. Instructions on how to pay textbook rental/fees can be found in the documents below.  If you have already created a My Payments Plus account for either textbook rental/fees or lunches, you do not need to create another one.

Textbook rental/fee statements will be mailed to all secondary students beginning the week of July 14. 
    
      Option 2:  Fees can be paid via cash, check, or charge at the school sites during onsite registration (see below for dates/times).

      Option 3:  Families needing textbook rental fee/lunch assistance can complete the assistance application online.  A link to this application can be found here as well as on the final page of the Infosnap online registration form.  The textbook rental fee/lunch assistance application can also be completed at a school during onsite registration.  Assistance will be available.

How do I find out transportation information?
  • Go to Parents|Transportation|Bus Stop Information (E-Link) on this website
  • Login with the Student ID (found on the Snapcode Letter) as the User Name and Password.  You will then be directed to create your own unique password. 
  • Click on Work with Students and then View My Students. 
  • Click on your student to view his/her bus stop information. 
If no route information is available, that means that there is no bus assigned for that student.  You should then call the Transportation Office (812-542-4707) to get a bus assignment.
Be aware that bus stop times will change throughout the year, especially the first few weeks of school due to traffic patterns and students being added to bus routes.  Please have your student at the bus stop 10 minutes prior to their bus stop time.  Check daily the first two weeks of school for updated information, then periodically for any changes throughout the year.  If your student is moving from elementary school to middle school or middle school to high school, please keep in mind that the bus pickup/drop-off location may not be the same as last year.
